Welcome! The journey toward shared use of the television spectrum has begun!

White Space Database Administrators, LLC helps protected entities register to assure their continued interference free use of FCC licensed spectrum and provides the administrator role for devices operating in the television White Space.

Please note: This is a work in progress, as the FCC rules have not be finailzed. We've about finished the work we can do at the time without actual FCC rules. It is now time for us to work with protected entities, and users of the spectrum (device manfacturers). Please contact Rich Biby at (540) 338 4363 to discuss formalizing a relationship.

At this time, y ou can use the "Find Whitesapce" tab to see how the logic works of selecting channels for use in a particular location. What you can't see from the web site is how data is exchanged between a device and the database administrator. We've developed our own XML protocol, along with appropriate security procedures to exchange the necessary data between the device and the administrator.
